Mask1: "live" 2nd layer adjustment? Bitmask list?
| NC Manson | Hi all - couple of quick ones (a) Is there a way to adjust the parameters of the 2nd layer whilst in "layer" or "split" mode - I can adjust the "base" layer no problem, but there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the top layer in situ (I can go to the voice itself, adjust it, then re-make the layer, but it would be really good to be able to tweak two separate voices together, side by side). (b) Is there a list of all the bitmasks anywhere? There is the limited selection on p.23 of manual (same as those on the unit itself). |
| jbowman | (a) - this is on my list of requests also (number 16 ;-) ). (b) - this would be really cool to see! |
KODAMO![]() | The full bitmask list is here, as a huge image (beware it might take a while to display): https://kodamo.org/img/allmasks.png About editing the layered voice from the base voice, it's not possible currently. I don't know if it is possible to improve that without compromising the workflow (keeping it clean & simple) |
| jbowman | Thanks for the image, really fascinating to see the patterns of the waveforms! For editing layered (or split) a voice from the base voice: once you layer (or split) the patch using the current procedure, you could then long press the layer (or split) button to enter layer (split) edit mode. The layer (split) button would then continuously flash (like the LFO buttons do) to remind you that you are in layer (or split) edit mode. Another long press takes you out of layer / split edit mode and back into the base voice. |
| NC Manson | Thanks for the image - with my old eyes I found it easier to see what's going on with a black text/white background format In case it's useful for others - here's a JPEG and a (single sheet) PDF JPEG https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H14noAQobf4iuH8SXMHooOtmfIgmgkoJ/view?usp=sharing PDF https://drive.google.com/file/d/1els50d_iS0xLQYad73dQNwgikNNzv_X6/view?usp=sharing |
