LOADING DX FILES
BROCKSTAR![]() | Not sure if bug or just weird way to do things... So when loading DX files there's an option to load it for voice / patch and A-Z. Every time I tell it to load it to lets say Z0, it doesn't do that. It loads in anything that is empty instead of putting it at Z0. When the bank is full or almost full and you try to import another one it says there's not enough slots. Please just allow us to overwrite them anytime. Also the clearing option takes too long. It needs a CLEAR ALL option as well to remove everything at once. |
KODAMO![]() | You can clear a whole bank in a single click in Global > Sorting |
BROCKSTAR![]() | Oh yeah I forgot all about that, thanks. Still that's just a lot of extra moving around to do something simple. I think it would be a better option to have clearing option under storage. Also still be good to have a way to overwrite the files if I wanna put my next files in the same place as something else without having to do all of this back and forth clearing. |
BROCKSTAR![]() | KODAMO There's a big issue still going on. Even after clearing, the presets will not load in the spot! I keep getting error "import is incomplete" / "not enough free voice slots" popping up after clearing them and trying to load a new dx7 file. I think the reason why is because each time you clear the entire thing it leaves a -* instead of just a - Seems the only way to clear them is to turn the machine off and back on and then they're all clear. You may wanna check it out and fix that ASAP please? |
| pandar1 | You have to hit save after clearing |
KODAMO![]() | Yes.. We might allow the import to happen without saving the cleared slots I think it makes sense (especially since the import itself does not write in permanent memory, you still have your previous content in the slots if you don't press Save). |
BROCKSTAR![]() | Yeah it needs to be seriously simplified. All of this jumping around to load, clear, save to do something so simple is time consuming and not a great workflow just to try some presets you uploaded. Everything needs to be on one page where it can be done all from one section. |
