KODAMO | Thanks for your interest in this. The INFINI series will see the day of light but in a different form. We hope it will happen mid or late 2025. The concept is still in the works ;) |

A real game changer, like no other synth on the market.....so I hope that it will be come true. Avi F | I don't know how i missed hearing it until now but the les sondiers interview and demo of it, that you did, sounded nothing short of amazing... formant synthesis is something that's always been super interesting to me, and to have this integrated into fm brings to mind for me the seemingly lost imagination of yamaha fs1r formant sounds, and seeing what looked like 8 fm operators, seems very exciting! |
pandar1 | Just my two cents. I understand that your team is currently small, and you're already managing two synths that require regular updates and new features. For example, the Kodamo Essence has been waiting for an update for over a year now. While launching a third synth is an exciting prospect, it could stretch your resources thin and risk leaving the current models under-supported. Unless you're considering expanding your development team, it might be worth focusing on further improving the existing products. By doing so, you'll build stronger customer loyalty and ensure that your existing models continue to evolve. After all, it’s often better to nurture two products with regular updates than to spread yourself too thin with multiple releases. |

unclewayback | This is very exciting. I've just been looking at the EssenceFM but have been interested in formant synthesis a while, and the bitmask method also sounds great. I guess I'll wait and see what happens with the infini this year. Would there be any chance of a module I wonder? I have a nice keyboard already... Best wishes for the project. 👍 (Definitely agree with continued support and looking after existing customers, but it is always possible that adding new models, particularly of the "flagship" variety, can actually help keep other models well-supported - for instance things that are worked out for the new members of the range can move backwards into the others. Another way to look at it!) |
Sontopi | Are there any updates on the Infini? It’s a pity that the 37-key version was apparently canceled. A high-quality polyphonic synthesizer with 3 octaves is unfortunately hard to find. I’m still not entirely sure what to think of the keybed on the multi/poly. |
| KODAMO | Initially we thought about the 3-octave keyboard, but since the engine runs on high-end (read : expensive) hardware, the product would have been on a weird market segment, a small keyboard priced like larger synthesizers. So we thought it made more sense to get the highest quality 5-octave keyboard possible instead. However in the future it's not impossible that we make a "lite" version. |
