Ratios
giacomo | Posted on Mon 09 May 2022, 01:25 AM Hi everyone. I'm looking at the Essence and have a basic/beginner's question. I wondering how operator frequency ratios translate into Essence language. I guess integer ratios are just the Multiplier value, because I saw in a video that this value seems to jump by integers. But what about everything to the right of the decimal point? Does quartertones correspond in a clear way? Or does fine tune correspond? For example, does 255 in fine = 1 in Multiplier?Sorry for elementary question. If I missed it in the manual. Thanks! |
KODAMO | Posted on Mon 09 May 2022, 04:27 PM +24 quartertones = +1 multiplier+100 fine = +1 quartertone For 1.5 multiplier you would set quartertones to 12 For 1.25 multiplier you would set quartertones to 6 |
