Electronic Wind Instrument sustain/release

Jazz Paladin	Posted on Sun 02 Jan 2022, 07:23 AM Question, I noticed that my midi keyboard plays an extended release after depressing a key, but whenever I cut off playing a note on my midi sax, the release of the note cuts of abruptly from the sustain with no release tail, any idea how to rectify this?
KODAMO	Posted on Sun 02 Jan 2022, 11:49 AM Can you check if "Expression pedal controls volume" is checked in Global > MIDI ? Your sax is probably sending some message (expression, channel volume or aftertouch) to make the note stop as soon as you stop blowing. You can experiment with MIDI filters (Global > MIDI > Filters) for that
