Transport case for the Mask1EX MK2?
icaria36 | Hi, what the title says. I just bought a Mask1EX MK2 and a main motivation is to bring it to places thanks to its small size and versatile sounds. But it also looks fragile (?) and in any case it is better to carry it in a case. Do you have a recommendation that protects the synth and doesn't add too much bulk, so it still fits in a regular backpack? |
Avi F | Since the dimensions are 11.7"x4.0"x2.2", the two I found that may be good are either the DCB Cases Element 4802F, or the SKB 3I-1706-6 hard shell cases with foam. In usd they're between 80 and 120 dollars. |

I was thinking about a lighter type of case that I can put in my backpack, not a hard case that is the case to carry.My goal is to carry in my back this synth, my Oki One MK2 (comes with a case) and a few cables to connect everything. I realize the Mask1EX is way taller than an Oxi and your regular keyboard / pad / desktop synth, which perhaps complicates the choices. Hm. Since this is mostly for commutes within my city (i.e. no airport checks) maybe I can DIY something with plastic bubble wrap, at least in the interim. |
