KODAMO | Welcome 🙂 Reading topics here or on general forums will probably give you some hints, but the best is JBowman's video tutorials, they are about the Mask1 keyboard, which is the same as the Mask1EX MK2 so all sound design tips apply |
Bastmpc | Got it at home since like 10 days, intensly used, first one first I'd recommand to spend time on focusing on each section slowly and make sure all is understoud. For instance, the delta envelopes. Another one would be to hardly use the random feature, not only to meet happy accident (plenty, actually), but to get an idea how far this lil cutie can go. Also use trs cables so you can use the usb to midi, if you will, it makes sure to avoid any ground/usb artifacts. And last but not least, have fun, this box is amazing in a way I couldn't even imagine.. |
Avi F | I love my Mask1 keyboard, I had to get the ex mkii though, to make even more sounds with it. As mentioned, Jbowmans tutorials are definitely recommended if you want to learn how it all works. |
