Import bug

Giampo	Posted on Wed 18 Nov 2020, 11:47 PM Hi, this time maybe I found a bug during import in general, sometimes everything crashes when I press the last confirmation, and in fact yesterday I was unable to load pulsophonic back fm vol 11, does the same thing happen to someone? however, it does not always happen, for example to import new wav I have to change the destination position otherwise everything crashes and I have to turn off the synth .... what happens? Giampo	Posted on Thu 19 Nov 2020, 08:17 PM So when I import a wav file if I leave the position in item destination as it is it crashes when I press on load everything, if I open the change dest window and select the same position or another, it no longer crashes and loads the wav, while for what concerns the pulsophonic file the Synth still crashes, I hope you can solve it. thank you very much Giampiero
KODAMO	Posted on Thu 19 Nov 2020, 08:41 PM We found a case where the import crashes: when there isn't enough free waveforms slots for importing new ones needed by the sound bank. Normally this bank doesn't require any new waveforms since it only uses Sine, Triangle etc. (default waveforms), but you probably edited them so it tries to find new slots for it. You can check by importing Pulsophonic's sound bank, instead of pressing "Load Everything" press on the waveforms in the list, check if the synth tells you "Not enough free slots for import". If you already use all the 24 slots, I think it's the same issue you're experiencing when importing a Wave file without changing the destination element. Fortunately that's an easy fix so it will be sorted out in the next firmware. Meanwhile, if you want to load Pulsophonic's sound bank you'll have to free some slots. Thanks for reporting this issue by the way

KODAMO	Posted on Thu 19 Nov 2020, 11:35 PM Yes I'm pretty sure all your waveforms slots are full and the EssenceFM doesn't handle that case when you want to import more. That will be fixed by preventing the import when that happens. For the video you can set it to "Not referenced", it means it can be accessed via the link but it's not visible publicly in your channel.

Giampo	Posted on Fri 20 Nov 2020, 12:02 AM Mi piacerebbe sapere cosa ne pensate delle mie patches , mi stò divertendo moltissimo, e infatti gli slot delle forme d'onda sono piene di campioni a ciclo singolo presi da vari synth di cui ho campionamenti , le edito con s.forge fino ad arrivare al ciclo singolo della forma d'onda...
