Features that I'd love to see
Soarer | Posted on Wed 24 Mar 2021, 11:07 AM 1. Copy a voice within the operator page by touching the dark background so nothing else is selected and press copy. This would allow you to copy a voice - while in performance mode and playing real time without having to stop and leave your performance and switch to voice mode. I mostly want to do this in order to compare my new result with the saved one so a Compare button would also be helpful. The good thing about copying is that you can always save the voice in a new destination.2. Please let Undo only go to the previous page when it has actually undone something on that page. The current way is rather confusing since it suddenly moves you to say, another operator’s page when you are undoing something on your current operator’s page and want to continue working on that page. Alternatively let the ‘switch to another page’ be an undo step. 3. Editing the same parameter in all operators would be really powerful. Maybe by linking. 4. Mono mode without any portamento. (Edit: Legato!) 5. Full featured Arpegiator for patches (not for each layer). 6. Multiple destinations for the knobs in performance mode, like macros. Then you could for example pitch all drums within a patch and many other cool things. 7. Mod source: “Alternate number generator” shifting equally in opposite direction from the middle for each received note. Middle or zero modulation is 63 and at maximum it will shift between 1 and 127. Applied to say, pan this would make each voice alternate between left and right by the amount of modulation. |
KODAMO | Posted on Sat 27 Mar 2021, 10:01 AM Thanks for the suggestions.4. Mono mode without any portamento. It's already possible, by setting Portamento Speed to the maximum (127) 5. Full featured Arpegiator for patches (not for each layer). Can you elaborate on how that would be different/more powerful than the current voice sequencer? |
Soarer | Posted on Sat 27 Mar 2021, 10:50 AM I meant legato actually. Is there a way to play mono without legato? The voice sequencer does not arpeggiate right? It repeats notes/chords but doesn’t play them one after another AFAIK (when holding a chord). |
KODAMO | Posted on Sat 27 Mar 2021, 11:24 AM I meant legato actually. Is there a way to play mono without legato? Currently the only way to trigger portamento is to play legato - otherwise there is no pitch slide between the notes. We may add an option for that. The voice sequencer does not arpeggiate right? It repeats notes/chords but doesn’t play them one after another AFAIK (when holding a chord). It doesn't, indeed. You're right that it could be useful so we'll check what we can do |
Kopplog | Posted on Sat 27 Mar 2021, 12:40 PM +1... missed that too already |
Soarer | Posted on Sat 27 Mar 2021, 04:12 PM Très bien :) |
Soarer | Posted on Sat 19 Jun 2021, 11:21 PM Are any of these requests going to be included in the next firmware? Really hope you’ll change the Undo/Redo behavior to not switch away from the screen you are currently on. This behavior makes me avoid using the Undo. |
KODAMO | Posted on Sun 20 Jun 2021, 09:33 PM (1) will be includedNot sure for other requests yet |
Soarer | Posted on Mon 21 Jun 2021, 12:05 PM Thanks, that one’s going to be useful.Really hope that especially the changed Undo behavior and legato free mono will follow soon. |
Soarer | Posted on Tue 20 Jul 2021, 01:00 PM Ah, you got both the copy/paste voice included and also the undo behavior improved 😀Looking forward to try the new update. Thanks for listening 🙏🏻 |
