Solo/Muting in Voice-Editor

Kopplog
Hi,
Talking from the voice editor (in fact, the visual representation as square boxes)...
Soloing voices (of the whole 6) only make sense when this weren't stacked in any way, by meaning: Are voices stacked, >soloing the whole stack< as a feature would IMHO improve the workflow for sound design.

How it could be done?...hm...
1) Whether a second solo button for >S stack< or
2) having the ability for a free selection drawn over the voices in the grafical presentation?

Furthermore...
I think it would make sense, if each of the squared box for the voices had a certain corner where it's shown if they're muted or not...?

Sincerely c

Hi,

Are you calling operators voices instead?

You suggestion for soloing stacks is interesting but the soloing/muting an operator is so quick (especially if done with both hands) that I think adding a special button for that would make it more confusing than helping.
There's also not much space left in the UI

I think it would make sense, if each of the squared box for the voices had a certain corner where it's shown if they're muted or not...?

I agree! Currently only the number is show in gray, it's not very obvious. We'll put the whole outline in gray for the next firmware

Hi,
the point I wanna make is, if– say:
I want to edit one Voice which has an operator to it
(so, I called it "stacked", after two voices are tied upon the other)...
it would be very comfortable to listen to both same time for sound-design reasons.
JFYI B)
