Mod matrix suggestion

About the mod matrix : - When modulating an operator volume it would be nice to take into account the values chosen in the "Base" & "Mod" windows instead of overriding them, (like when modulating the operators frequency or LFO FM & AM depth with Modmatrix). - The same for filter frequency : When modulating the filter frequency, Modmatrix overrides filter enveloppe, it could be nicer to keep the enveloppe but just shifting the frequency. - When modulating the "Initial Phase" I obtain strange results with a lot of noise and aliasing, even with zero modulating value, and operator frequency not following the midi note anymore. Once again thanks to Kodamo for this wonderful instrument! |

There is already a way to do that, in the mod matrix there is a "Flt Cutoff(env)" destination. It changes the cutoff while preserving its envelope - When modulating the "Initial Phase" I obtain strange results with a lot of noise and aliasing, even with zero modulating value, and operator frequency not following the midi note anymore. It's normal if you modulate it with constant sources, for example CC or LFO as sources are updated a few hundred times per second so the phase will be forced to that value everytime. Phase should be only modulated with "one shot" sources like Note Number, Velocity or RNG, those are applied only on key press so the phase is free to run afterwards. Ideally for max flexibility, for constant sources we'd need a checkbox to let you decide if you want the source to be continuously read, or only read on key press (or other event).
