Midi in from din issue

Midi light flashes but no sound triggered. used all midi channels and nothing is filtered in midi filter. USB midi from keys fine. Any ideas? on latest firmware 5.3b. factory reset didn't help. |
KODAMO | Posted on Mon 27 Dec 2021, 09:47 PM Hello,Do the vu-meters show something when you go into Global > Audio then trigger some notes ? Check in Global > MIDI that the Global Channel is set to Omni so it receives MIDI from any channel. Maybe try a simple master keyboard directly connected to the EssenceFM. Taking some pictures of your settings could also help (MIDI and Audio pages especially) |

| KODAMO | Posted on Tue 28 Dec 2021, 01:57 PM Can you take a picture of the MIDI msg monitor just after doing this:- Plug the MIDI DIN between the EssenceFM and the keyboard - Power the EssenceFM On - Power the controller On - Press a single key on the controller connected via MIDI DIN Ensure your controller doesn't send clock or active sensing, otherwise the msg monitor will erase all the data we need. |
